Question: Hey GUYS! <3
Okay here goes. I have been dating this amazing guy for only 4 months now and I have been married before, so I have learned to take things super slow. He is a very old fashioned person too. This Sunday for July 4th he invited me over to meet his parents (the good thing is his fam and friends that I already now will be there too.) Just casual cookout. I love it. You see I don't mean to blow this thing out to a big deal but it kind of is for my boyfriend, because he takes things slow and in my heart I see us going the long hall. Do you think he is thinking long term? Is he nervous as much as I am? What tips can you give me for the greeting part and discussion, dressing, and what not. Any advice would be very great! Thanks so much!!! xoxox. <3

Question: Hello everyone! I’m B, and I’m going to be getting custody of my baby as soon as he/she is born. I’d like to know what I definitely need, I heard that some things are necessary that you would think wouldn’t be that important and vice versa. So Tips on what I need would be great, and I have read the list and things, but I’d like real parents opinions. Another thing, what should I keep medical wise for the baby? And finally any parenting tips you could offer would be great! Thank you for all your help.

Question: Okay, I’ve questioned the practice in the past, and even gone as far as to say it was bad for children. I get it now, and I apologize.
My daughter has some behavior problems, no one’s denying that. She was suspended for having an attitude last week, we appealed the decision and she went back Monday. We asked her therapist to pay a little visit to check up on her (parents can’t do that here). She called us at 7pm that night and informed us that the teacher had grabbed her arm and pulled her out of her seat an walked her to the corner. She proceeded to get right next to her ear and shouted “Stop”. My daughter had been talking to the child next to her. There was a lot of shouting and verbal aggression (from a teacher. WTH?) There was a lot more in the report, but I’m trying to make this brief.
A hardship transfer is being arranged for my son (he was in K at same school, and the whole place has me concerned) but I think Heaven would be better off if she stayed home for a while. She’s very worked up at the thought of returning to classroom. I’m afraid the stress will result in what will be considered bad behavior, and bye bye new start. The problem is I have no idea where to start, and JCPS just keeps telling me to sleep on it.
Do I just withdraw her from school? Is there a set curriculum? Do I report to anyone?
Sorry it’s so long, and I appreciate any advice, tips, or suggestions. I know I could have posted this in Education, but my Dad taught me to never talk to strangers
wim: I appreciate the input, but I’ve given the same arguments on it, I know the concerns. I feel she has plenty of social interaction outside of school, and her peer relations are great.
LMAO…you gotta love this place….
Question: I just got a notice that I’m taking the ACT this week. My parents didn’t tell me until this weekend. I haven’t been able to practice at all. I’m taking it in at a private place so I didn’t have anyone to tell me.
I don’t know how the ACT works. This will be my first time taking the ACT. What are some tips/how does the ACT work?
Question: I’m 13 and yes it’s normal for teens to have a disorganized bedroom.
Though it’s not only my room…
I have problems with “tidying”. My mess spreads throughout my home. That means my room, the living room, kitchen, dining room, bathroom AND my parents room. AND DON’T ASK ME ABOUT THE SPARE BEDROOM. I just need tips on how to controll this and beat the mess.
